Mary A. Wright, 84, of Delaware, formerly of McArthur, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Sarah Moore Health Care Center in Delaware. She was born July 6, 1925 in McArthur, daughter of the late Arthur Campbell and Edna Harper Ringer. Mary was the widow of the late Floyd W. Wright.
She formerly owned and operated Wrights Pottery in Columbus and was a member of the Delaware Art Guild and the VFW Post #5299 in McArthur.
Mary is survived by a son, Pat Annette Wright of Mt. Vernon; daughters, Trina Eugene Galloway of Delaware, Connie Bob Brister of Plain City and Mary Jo Jerry Stein of Delaware; thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a sister, Helen Holcomb of McArthur.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Floyd L. Wright and an infant daughter, Linda Lee Wright.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Thursday, May 20, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High Street, McArthur. Interment will be in Centenary Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
Mary requested no flowers be sent to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301.
