Mildred M. Stevens

Mildred M. Stevens, 92, of Logan, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Logan Health Care Center. She was born September 15, 1917 in Hocking County, daughter of the late Oliver N. and Nellie M. James Blake. Mildred was the widow of the late G. Arthur Stevens.

She retired as the Hocking County Court Recorder in 1978, the Law Librarian in 2001 and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Logan.

Mildred is survived by a daughter, Anita E. Robert Lindsey of Logan; grandchildren, Lani M. Lindsey of College Park, Maryland and Robyn E. Lindsey of Ft. Worth, Texas and a brother, Earl J. Blake of Bevard, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Wednesday, May 26, 2010 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Brian Arnold officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.
