Marie Crow

Marie Crow, age 94, of McArthur, Ohio, left this earth to be with her ""heavenly family"" on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Marie was married for 74 years to her ""best friend"", John Crow, who survives.

Marie is also survived by three children, Suzanne Sowers of McArthur, Sharon Allen Finchum of London and Gary Letha Crow of Elyria. She was a very proud grandmother of Eric Julie Finchum, Kimberly Al Roberson, Susette Robinette, Mandelyn Sowers, Bret Beth Crow, Lisha Crow and Carene Crow plus nine beloved great grandchildren, Nathan, Victoria, Marissa, Brock, Faith, David, Jeremy, Emily and Holly and a brother, Earnest Mary Patree.

She was very active in the Ladies Auxiliary of Fraternal Order of Eagles, earning the title of State Mother and State Grandmother. Marie was a charter member of the McArthur Business and Professional Women and was a member of the First Christian Church in McArthur.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dora Partee; five brothers; one sister and her son-in-law, John Sowers.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, May 29, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Rev. Danny Minton officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral on Friday, from 5-8 P.M.
