Ernest E. Woods

Ernest E. Woods, 54, of Columbus, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 13, 1955 in Columbus, son of Ruth E. Holley Woods and the late Ernest D. Woods.

In addition to his mother, Ernest is survived by a son, Ernest E. Woods Jr. of Chillicothe; two daughters, Crystal Hanes of Columbus and Ariel Woods of Texas; a brother, Roger Tina Woods of Columbus; and sisters, Linda Rick Smith Siders of Columbus and Patty Steve Jeffers of Coolville.

He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Elwood and Carmon Holley and paternal grandparents, Dennis and Frankie Woods.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, June 3, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Pastor Jay Hubbard officiating. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may call Thursday from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.
