Mary A. Timberlake, 94, of Radcliff, went to her reward Friday, May 28, 2010 at her residence. She was born May 24, 1916, in Columbus, daughter of the late Pasquale and Lucia Melfi Pinatiello. She was married for 72 years to James W. Timberlake Sr., who passed away August 25, 2009.
She retired from A&P bakery after 29 years and was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Jackson.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Jeannette Louise Jones of Radcliff; two sons, James W. Martha Timberlake Jr. of Easley, South Carolina and Robert Mary Timberlake of Columbus; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; eighteen great-great grandchildren; sister Emma Schoenberger of Columbus; brother, John Pinatiello of Marysville and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, a son-in-law and a grandson
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, June 3, 2010 in the Lighthouse Church, 2063 Kessinger School Road, Jackson with Pastor Russ Strange officiating. Interment services will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, in Sunset Cemetery, Columbus. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur on Wednesday, from 4-8 P.M. and one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday.
