Virginia Case, 88, of Hamden, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 in Columbus. She was born September 17, 1921 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Whitten and Eva Wright Reffett. Virginia was the widow of the late Worlie Case.
She attended Maggie's Home Church.
Virginia is survived by her sons, Frank Tressie Case of Orient, Ohio, Doug Patty Case of Sherman, New York, Jim Susan Case of Pataskala and Randy Case of Columbus; daughters, Faye Rogers of Dundas, Ann Hughie Farmer of Hamden, Connie Case of Columbus, Vanessa Case of Columbus, Janice Case of Columbus, Leisha Case of Columbus and Patty Bill Kingsbury of McArthur; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Tom Case; a daughter, Mae Hammond; son-in-law, Russell Rogers and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Friday, June 4, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High Street, McArthur. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 P.M. and on Friday, from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.
