Imogene Radcliff, 85, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born June 7, 1924 in McArthur, daughter of the late Timothy V. and Velma Stuck Thompson. Imogene was the widow of the late Donald Radcliff.
Imogene retired from the Vinton County National Bank and AEP and she formerly worked for Austin Powder Company. She graduated from McArthur High School in 1942 and was a member of the McArthur United Methodist Church.
Imogene is survived by sisters, Anna Ruth Morley of McArthur, Cheri Prince of McArthur and Margaret Shirk of Canal Winchester; a brother, Robert Sharon Thompson of Columbus; foster sons, Leland and Gordon Wells; special friends, Martha and Bill Graves, Joyce Peters and Jeri Ann Trainer.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her niece, Tracy Thompson.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, June 7, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High Street, McArthur with Rev. Dr. Walt Goble officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 4-8 P.M.
