Audrey A. McCoy, 83, of Glouster, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at her residence. She was born March 25, 1927 in Trimble, daughter of the late Chester and Frances Kinder Thompson. Audrey was the widow of the late William E. McCoy.
She was a volunteer at Tri County Community Action for many years and was an avid bingo player.
Audrey is survived by her sons, William E. ""Bud"" Beverly McCoy Jr. of Glouster, David Brenda McCoy of Glouster and Randy Tonya McCoy of Athens; a daughter, Carol McCoy Stansfield of Philo; fifteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a half brother, John Oiler of Bryan Ohio; sisters-in-law, Lenora Thompson of Glouster and Roberta McCoy of Barnesville and her cat, Pook.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Melvin Thompson.
Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, June 27, 2010 in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster, with Rev. John Wright officiating. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main Street, Glouster, on Sunday, from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.
