Robert L. White

Robert L. White, 69, of Logan, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born April 23, 1941 in Swickley, Pennsylvania, son of the late James S. and Ethel Watenpool White. Bob was married to Vicki Carr White, who survives.

He retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation, was a former member of the Logan Police Department Reserves and was a member of the Logan Moose Lodge. Bob also worked at Carborundum in Logan for 18 years.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by daughters, Debbie Scott Ramsey of Altoona, Wisconsin, BJ White and Kari Engen of Columbus and Jennifer Wilson and William Quickle of Carbon Hill; grandchildren, Nathan, Dustin and Brandon Ramsey of Altoona, Wisconsin and Mark and Wyatt Wilson of Carbon Hill; brothers, James S. Bonnie White of Logan and John E. Barb Hinerman White of Logan and sisters, Erma Graham Swaim of Logan, Elizabeth Ron Bussard of Amanda and Dorothy Gary Fought of Alabama.

A memorial service will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, July 3, 2010 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Charles Mansfield officiating. Bob's wishes were to be cremated. A private burial will take place at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, one hour prior to the memorial service.
