Teresa Ann Carter

Teresa Ann Carter, 53, of New Plymouth, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 at her residence. She was born December 10, 1956 in Columbus, daughter of Paul G. and Doris Clark Dorsey of Johnstown. Teresa was married to Donald Ray Carter, who survives.

She was employed at Logan Hocking Schools, was a member of Union Furnace United Methodist Church, was a former 4-H advisor and was the secretary for the 4-H Horse Committee.

In addition to her parents and husband, Teresa is survived by sons, Steven Claypool of Springfield and Michael Romaine of Lancaster; daughters, Leslie Marie Mark Fast of Lancaster, Michelle Renee Romaine of Lancaster, Dawn Rae Carter of Lancaster and Raeann Teresa Carter of New Plymouth; eleven grandchildren; sisters, Diana Wewetzer of Pataskala, Lynda Perry of Gahanna and Sarah Dorsey of Columbus.

A special thanks to Debby, Darrell, Thomas, Jessy and Jacob Dexter, the American Cancer society and FairHope Hospice.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. William Sheplar and Rev. Iris Conrad officiating. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
