Carolyn Lucille Hunter

Carolyn Lucille Hunter, 64, of McArthur, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010 at Twin Maples Nursing Home in McArthur. She was born April 24, 1946 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Edgar and Martha Smith Hunter.

Carolyn is survived by her nieces and nephews, Terry Tammy Smith of McArthur, Angie Glen Saylor of McArthur, Ryka Tony Cartee of North Carolina, Dusty Allen Daily of Jackson and Amber Shawn Steele of Dayton; several great nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law Shirley Smith of McArthur and Marilyn Hunter of Hamden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Smith and Larry Hunter.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, July 8, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High Street, McArthur. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.
