Buddy Napier, 62, of McArthur, went to his Heavenly Home, Monday, July 26, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 24, 1948 in Huntington, West Virginia, son of the late Roscoe and Delana Wiley Napier Sr. Buddy was married to Linda Joy Tomblin Napier, who survives.

He retired as a heavy equipment operator for Starr Township, was a Vietnam Army Veteran and was a former Brown Township Trustee.

Buddy is survived by his daughters, Michele Shane Thompson Napier of McArthur, Marcy Rev. Richard Purvis of Stockport and Misty Napier of McArthur; grandchildren, Joey, Mason and Sam Huston, Lillian Purvis and Monica and Aderon Thompson; a brother, Paul Judy Napier of Union Furnace; sisters, Callie Harold Ray Smith of Ranger, West Virginia and Onee Fields of Indiana; a special mother-in-law, Lillian ""Peep"" Tomblin of Ranger, West Virginia and several in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roscoe Jr., Pat, Arthur, Aderon and Candy Napier and a sister, Little Sissy.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, July 29, 2010 in McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, 6670 McClellan St., West Hamlin, West Virginia, 25571, with Rev. Caudill Adkins officiating. Interment will be in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock, West Virginia. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, Ohio, 45651 on Wednesday, from 5-7 P.M. and on Thursday, one hour prior to the services at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home.
