Darren Ray Ellars

Darren Ray Ellars, 45, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati. He was born January 18, 1965, in Fayette County, Ohio, son of Marta Mickle Ellars Arehart Hintz of Logan and the late Byron Ellars.

He was a HVAC technician and a Navy Veteran.

In addition to his mother, Darren is survived by sons, Derek Natausha Ellers of Rockbridge and Nicholas Ellars of Olympia, Washington; grandchildren, Taylor Ellars and Austin Ellars; a brother, Brant Ellars of Logan; nephews, Nathan and Cody Ellars; an uncle, Ed Ellars; an aunt, Sandra ""Babe"" Ludwick and a special friend, Angie Carmichael.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, September 13, 2010 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Pastor Terry Borah officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rockbridge, with military graveside services being conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 5-8 P.M.
