Franklin Leroy Mcclaskey

Franklin Leroy McClaskey 79 of McArthur passed away October 2, 2010 at his residence. He was born July 1, 1931 in Vinton County, son of the late Arthur and Flora Nunnemaker McClaskey. He was married to the late Virginia Waldren McClaskey.

Frank was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by a son Tommy Sandi Stewart of South Bloomingville, daughters Mary Jim Woltz of Ray, Patty Paul Elkins of Gallia Co., and a son in law Ray Worrix of McArthur. 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, a Brother Arthur McClaskey of Lima, a sister Maggie Waldren of Hamden, and a special friend Alyce Seitz of McArthur.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a daughter Carol Worrix, a brother John, and sisters Alice, Mary, Bessie, Helen, Marie, and baby Gennie.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home 201 W. High St. McArthur with Rev. Donald Lamb officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8PM.

The family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society and sent to Amber Betts 60365 US Hwy. 50 McArthur, Ohio 45651.
