Bernice Stalling

Bernice Stalling, 65, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at Doctors Hospital West in Columbus. She was born May 23, 1945 in Columbus, daughter of the late Albert A. and Bessie Mae Wallice Burns. Bernice was married for 46 years to John Stalling, who survives.

She is survived by sons, John Rita Stalling and Ron Tina Stalling, both of Nelsonville; a daughter, Angie Gene Lawson of Stokesville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Dillon Stalling, Nicole Robinette, Mandy Russell, Holly Lawson Yates, Christopher Lawson and Tami Robinette; great grandchildren, Glenn Yates, Malachi Robinette, Harley Strasbaugh, Zoe Fatherly, Jana Robinette and Benjamin Sawyer Robinette; a sister Mary Jankowski of Glouster; special sister-in-law, Jean Hopkins of Alexandria; a special friend Dorothea Coey of The Plains and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her brothers, Albert Burns Jr. and Robert Burns; a sister, Barbara Maynor and an infant sister, Lois Mae Burns

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Tuesday, October 12, 2010 in Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery New Addition, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 P.M.
