Harold Six

Harold Six, 82, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at his residence. He was born January 14, 1928 in Athens County, son of the late Leonard and Elsie Morgan Six. Harold was the widower of the late Juanita Bailey Six.

He is survived by sons, Herbert J. Six of The Plains, Larry Ida Bailey of Nelsonville, David Bailey of Athens, Bob Vicki Six of Anchorage, Alaska and Jody Valerie Six of Nelsonville, Michael Martha Six of Nelsonville; daughters, Loretta Al Sharpe of Athens, Judy Randall Roush of New Lexington, Brenda Bob Bownes of Athens and Debbie Vermillion of Athens; over 100 grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Harold was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Richmond and Birgie Six; sister, Lucille Pierce; two grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Gary Alton officiating. Interment will be in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
