William P. Dye, 72, of Logan, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born October 10, 1938 in Hocking County, son of the late Richard and Sylvia Lowery Dye. Bill was married to Wanda James Dye, who survives.
He was a retired drill operator at Diamond Power in Lancaster and was an Army Veteran.
Bill is survived by sons, Mike Kathy Dye of Wellston, Todd Dye of Logan and Anthony Dye of Logan; grandchildren, Te'Lesia Spencer, Michael Dye and Lindsey Dye; brothers, Carl Dye of Lancaster and Dick Dye of Logan and a sister, Margie Gray of Lancaster.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Francisco.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Bill will be cremated. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
