Daniel Curtis Pierce

Daniel Curtis Pierce, 50, of Logan, formerly of McArthur, passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at his residence. He was born April 20, 1960 in Chillicothe, son of Polly Elizabeth ""Betty"" Worrix Pierce of McArthur and the late Hiram ""Dee"" Pierce.

Daniel was a truck driver and diesel mechanic.

He is survived by sons, Daniel II, Joshua, Dustin, Jeremy, Justin and Hunter; a daughter, Mary; four grandchildren; brothers, Ralph Samantha Pierce of Ray and Roger Sharon Pierce of McArthur; one sister, Margie Bosdell of Ashville; a special friend, Phyllis and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Wayne Pierce.

A funeral service will be held 6 P.M., Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in the McArthur Church of the Nazarene, McArthur, with Pastor Bill Roth officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday, from 4 P.M. until the time of the service.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
