Kelly L. Mace Howson

Kelly L. Mace Howson, 38, of Nelsonville, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. She was born August 2, 1972 in Athens, daughter of Brenda Kish Mace of Nelsonville and the late Steven R. Mace Sr.

She was an administrative assistant for Rocky Brands in Nelsonville; a member of the Nelsonville VFW Post #3467 Ladies Auxiliary, a social member of the Jacksonville VFW Post #9866 Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 21, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary AMVETS Post #76 and she was a member of the Women of the Moose #997 in Logan.

Kelly is survived by her brother, Steven Tiffany Mace of Nelsonville; a sister, Emily Wayne Strickland of Guysville; grandmother, Pearl Mace of Nelsonville; nieces and nephews, Lexi and Sean Mace, Sandy and Rachael Strickland and Matthew Mace; several aunts, uncles and cousins and a special friend, Tom Shifflet Jr. of Jacksonville.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Gary Alton officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2-8 P.M. and on Wednesday, on hour prior to the service.
