Gerald Eugene Myers

Gerald Eugene Myers, 58, of McArthur, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 at his residence. He was born January 9, 1952 in Vinton County, son of the late Richard and Mary Katherine Pritchard Myers Sr.

He was a former construction worker.

Gerald is survived brothers, Richard Patricia Myers, Michael Myers and Randy Teresa Myers; sisters, Barbara Perry, Mona Myers, Rita Markin, Donna John Morgan and Judy Robert Reid and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Lee VanHoose.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Ferrell Rood officiating. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 P.M.
