Genevieve Eileen Mcgrath Smith

Genevieve Eileen McGrath Smith, 91, of New Straitsville, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born September 3, 1919 in Carbon Hill, Ohio, daughter of the late Guy Samuel and Myrtle Collins Stedman. Eileen was the widow of the late William Smith.

She retired from the former T.B. Hospital in Nelsonville.

Eileen is survived by sons, Terry Ruth Ann McGrath of Logan and Floyd Betty McGrath of Lancaster; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter; her first husband, Weldon McGrath; a brother, Gerald Stedman and a sister, Eloise Ayers.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. King Kelly officiating. Interment will be in New Straitsville Cemetery, New Straitsville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 5-8 P.M.
