Judy Sheets

Judy Sheets, 58, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at her residence. She was born December 5, 1951 in Athens County, daughter of the late Melvin and Electa Forrest Teal. Judy was married for 39 years to John Sheets, who survives.

She formerly worked for Rocky Shoe Factory, was a great wife, wonderful mother and a super grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by a son, Justin Sheets of Nelsonville; a daughter, Jamie Glenn Lewis of Marysville; grandchildren, Travis Sheets, Danielle ""Dani"" Lewis and Austin Lewis; brothers, Charles Judy Teal of Hope, Arkansas, Melvin Sheila Teal of Logan, Jack Karen Teal of Lancaster, Jerry Jackie Teal of Nelsonville, Roy A. Teal of Nelsonville; sisters, Connie M. Robert Stoneburner of Lancaster, Nellie Charles Keiffer of Logan, Betty Jess Barnhart of Trimble and Brenda Dan Clark of Albany and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Friday, November 19, 2010 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 4-8 P.M.
