Donald L. Todd, 77, of Nelsonville, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville. He was born August 17, 1933 in Hocking County, son of the late Thomas Algernon and Marcella Faulk Todd. Donald was married for 58 years to Helen Reva O'Nail Todd, who survives.
Donald was a carpenter in Nelsonville for over 50 years owning Todd Construction. Donald and his brother Henry built 75 homes together and remolded many more. He taught adult carpentry class at Tri-County for twelve years, was an avid bowler since 1976, he was a bowling coach in Lancaster, a parent volunteer for the Nelsonville-York Band and he was employed by Karshner Sales in Lancaster for several years. One of Donald's favorite sayings when it was time to do something with the family was ""Well, let's get this over with.""

""He never told us how to live; he simply lived and let us watch.""
