Betty K. Jackson, 92, of Londonderry, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010. She was born February 25, 1918 in Pancoastburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Jackson M. and Bonnie Mason Kelley. Betty was the widow of the late Charles ""Joe"" Homer Jackson.

She worked at Miller Oil Company during the depression and was a member of Voice of Hope of The Church of God. One of her most enjoyed jobs was working for Custom Coach Corporation, where she got to meet several famous actors, including Red Shelton.

Betty is survived by a daughter, Jo Jackson; grandchildren, Joseph L. Annie Gosling Jackson, Nathaniel L. Shelly Current Jackson and Zachary D. Jackson and great grandchildren, Jazzmyne Bolender, Braden Jackson, Piper Jackson and Gannon Jackson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Bonnie Lynn Jackson and Linda L. Elder.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Monday, December 20, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Pastor John Karlson officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 12 noon until time of services.
