Roy R. Bevard Sr., 81, of Chillicothe, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born November 12, 1929 in Ray, Ohio, son of the late Samuel J. and Hazel Bethel Bevard. Roy was married to the late Eileen Morrison Bevard.
He is survived by sons, Steven Abrenda Bevard and Roy Tami Bevard Jr.; daughters, Carolyn David Crowley, Rebecca Douglas Hess and Tonya Steve Nelson; twenty-six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Roy was preceded in death by an infant son; son, Samuel Bevard Jr. and a daughter, Karen K. Bevard.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. James McFadden officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.
