Marian Louise Neel

Marian Louise Neel, 81, of Logan, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. She was born September 12, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Wanch Birtcher. Marian was the widow of the late Robert Neel.

She was a member of the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church in Murray City.

Marian is survived by a son, Darrel Perry of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Kimberly Canter of Shawnee and Matt Perry of Shawnee; a great grandchild, Cierra Whitney and brothers, Don Roseann Birtcher and Clyde Birtcher both of Hanover.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and John Birtcher and a sister, Ruth Wolfe.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery New Addition, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 P.M.
