Ford Matthew Weaver

Ford Matthew ""Matt"" Weaver, 55, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, December 25, 2010 at his residence. He was born February 13, 1955 in Nelsonville, son of Kenneth Weaver, of Nelsonville and the late Mary Jane Walker Weaver.

Matt was a long term employee of Kroger in Nelsonville. He has many interests including sports, hunting, fishing, cooking, hiking and especially music. He was a member of the Nelsonville-York Marching Band and The Ohio University Marching 110. Matt also enjoyed traveling to Drum Corps International Competitions.

In addition to his father, he is survived by brothers Tim Pam Weaver of Nelsonville and Dave Janet Weaver of Coshocton; a sister, Nancy Lee Shafer of Nelsonville; nephews, Scott, Lance and Joe Along and a niece, Sarah.

A memorial service will be held 7 P.M., Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
