Iven L. Lehman

Iven L. Lehman, 62, of The Plains, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. He was born February 6, 1948 in Hocking County, son of Ivor Lehman of Logan and the late Delores Norris White. Iven was married to the late Patricia Virginia Herron Lehman.

He was a ceramic engineer, a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Athens Masonic Lodge.

Iven is survived by his stepmother, Irene Lehman of Logan; son, Curtis Lee Lehman of Lancaster; stepfather, Owen White of Nelsonville; daughters, Christina Keith Lehman Rice of Athens and Jennifer Lehman of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Steven Hunter, Christopher Channing Lehman, Travis Rice, Chayce Rice, Leham Rice and Sean Patrick Cary; great grandchildren, Christopher Ashton Lehman, Alexia Hunter and Anthony Hunter; a special niece, Misty Burton; brothers, Billy Dean Leffler of Wyoming, Jo Bob Leffler of Nelsonville and Jim Lehman of Lancaster; nieces, Becky Maccombs, Amber Pittenger, Amanda Crawford, Heather Spivey, Melissa Leffler and Kayla Jevon Colon and a nephew, Kevin Lehman.

A memorial service will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Elder Virginia Mingus and Elder Marjorie Bellville officiating. Inurnment will be New Marshfield Cemetery, New Marshfield. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
