Linda M. Kinneer

Linda M. Kinneer, 69, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011, in her husbands arms with her loving family at home. She was born December 26, 1941 in Nelsonville daughter of Lucille Walters Goss of Nelsonville and the late Bernard Daniel Goss. Linda was married to Keith Kinneer, who survives.

She retired from Peoples Bank after 42 years of service, was a member of the Nelsonville United Methodist Church and was a member of the Nelsonville Greyhound Alumni Association. Linda was a master gardener and loved her flowers.

She is survived by a son, Guy Charla Kinneer of Murray City; a daughter, Amy Ray Spoutz of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Krystin Kinneer of Murray City and Nick Spoutz of Nelsonville; a sister, Mary Beth Hook of Stockport and brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Cheryl Kinneer of Nelsonville, Joe and Kelly Kinneer of Chillicothe and Ruth Ann and Richard Woody of Missouri.

In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Kinneer; brothers, Dallas and Bane Goss; sister-in-law, Dixie Kinneer and brother-in-law, Mel Hook.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, January 22, 2011 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Seth Kinneer officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 4-8 P.M.
