Patricia N. Verity

Patricia N. Verity, 71, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born April 23, 1939 in Logan, daughter of the late Roy W. and Helen Ledford Sigler. Pat was married to Robert J. Verity, who survives.

She was a retired registered nurse from the United States Army and Hocking Valley Community Hospital. Pat was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Era, a member of the United Brethren in Christ Church in Logan, a member of the Logan Amvets #1776 and the Logan American Legion Post #78.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Regina and Renata Verity both of Logan; seven grandchildren; brothers, Howard Frances Sigler of Logan, Herbert Barbara Ledford of Florida, Doug Sigler of Arizona, Lyle Charlotte Sigler of Logan and Dana Sigler of Logan and a sister, Mona Jerry Breining-Conkle of Logan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gene, Dwight and Lon Sigler.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Monday, January 31, 2011 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Pastor Doug Stull officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry County, with military graveside services being conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2-4 P.M and on Monday, one hour prior to the service.
