Courtney Brook Caudill

Courtney Brook Caudill, 42, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus. She was born June 26, 1968 in Nelsonville, daughter of Kathy Chesser Caudill of McArthur and Dee H. Caudill of Hamden.

She owned Thyme On My Hands Bakery in McArthur, was a member of the First Christian Church in McArthur and Phi Beta Kappa. Courtney graduated from Vinton County High School, Marietta College and the College of William and Mary.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Andrea Dee Caudill and Aimee Jessica Caudill, both of McArthur; a brother, Matthew Corbett Caudill of Newark and special friends, Bev Harper Brown, Cindy Conner, Jodell Kinnison, Lila Davidson and Janie Fannin.

At Courtney's request, graveside services will be held 10 A.M., Friday, February 4, 2011 in Mace Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Thursday, from 5-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Courtney Brook Caudill to the Vinton County Scholarship Foundation c/o Vinton County Local School District, 307 W. High St., McArthur, Ohio 45651.
