Lucille Mae Mcgee Ward

Lucille Mae McGee Ward, 85, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011 at her residence. She was born February 24, 1925 in Dundas, Ohio, daughter of the late James and Byrdia Bishop McGee. Lucille was the widow of the late James E. Ward. They were married for 46 years.

She retired from the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services and was a 1943 graduate of McArthur High School.

Lucille is survived by a son, Terry Debbie Ward of McArthur; a daughter, Debbie David Rigsby of Carroll; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jim Ward and granddaughter, Sherry Ward Penwell.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, February 10, 2011 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Pastor Matt Chesser officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
