Margaret Elizabeth Wray went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 25, 1921 to Clarence Wesley and Sarah Priscilla Groves Lehman in Carbon Hill, Ohio.
She graduated salutatorian of Ward Local High School, class of 1940 in Carbon Hill and was a member of the original Carbon Hill Mennonite Church.
She was married March 4, 1943 to Pearl Junior Wray, who departed this life on January 23, 1986. Margaret is survived by five daughters, Carolyn James Blackford of Logan, Nancy Wesley Brunk of Carbon Hill, Barbara Nolan Brunk of Logan, Ruth Ann Timothy Good of Lancaster and Linda Wray of the home; a stepson, Christopher Velda Wray of Logan; fifteen grandchildren, Dale Ruth Blackford, Debra Christopher Good, Nelson Emily Brunk, Sarah Stanley Weaver, John Shirley Brunk, David Loreen Brunk, Anthony Sue Brunk, Robert Naomi Brunk, Michael Dolores Brunk, Karen Loren Weaver, Lucinda John Yutzy, Kelley Daniel Hess, Ryan Teresa Good, Evan Laura Good and Andy Margaret Good; two step grandchildren, Wendy Chuck McManaway Wray and Jennifer Wray; thirty-five great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Lowell Wray and Lester Mays and sisters-in-law, Wilda Wray and Juanita Wray.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two infant sons; one stepson; and three brothers, John Lehman, Ivan Lehman and Elmer Lehman.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the Hocking Hills Mennonite Church, 14865 State Route 595, Logan. Interment will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill. Friends may call at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville on Tuesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday, one hour prior to the services at the church.
