Carol Elizabeth Burns

Carol Elizabeth Burns, 89, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home in Wellston. She was born February 14, 1922 in Radcliff, daughter of the late George Raymond ""Ray"" and Cora Bowen Morris. Carol was the widow of the late John H. Burns.

She was an Optician for John H. Burns Optial in Fort Worth, Texas, a member of the Order of Eastern Star Ridglea Chapter #999 in Fort Worth, Texas and was a 1941 graduate of Vinton Township High School.

Carol is survived by a brother Ramon Morris Sr. of Radcliff and several nieces and nephews.

Carol's wishes were to be cremated. No visitation or services will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
