Theodore Alan Tom Sr.

Theodore ""Ted"" Alan Tom Sr., 52, of Canal Winchester, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 At Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus Ohio. He was born April 14, 1958 in Logan, son of Sharron Thomas Sharb Talbert of The Plains and the late Robert E. Tom. Ted was married to Jennifer Loucks Tom, of Canal Winchester, who survives.

He was employed Specialty Auto and RV, was a 1976 graduate of Logan High School, a member of the Coon Hunters Gun Club and was a sports enthusiast. Ted coached Miller High School Football and little league football and baseball.

He is survived by sons, Theodore Lisa Tom Jr., of Portsmouth and Theron Noelle Davis Tom of Hemlock, Ohio; the mother of his sons, Sherry Tom of Lancaster; stepson, Nicholas Kristin Perry and Natalie Brad Krell both of Canal Winchester; grandchildren, Henry Tom, Payton and Lilly Krell and Nattaley and Noah Hernandez; sisters, Cindy Kevin Brandt Spangler of Heath and Jennifer Robert Abram of New Lexington; step-brother, Jack Jessie Talbert; step-sister Connie Scott Lynn;numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theodore and Hilda Tom and Victor and Hazel Sharb.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, February 23 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. David Long-Higgins officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
