Thurman Lee Meadows

Thurman Lee Meadows, 54, of McArthur, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 26, 1956 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, son of Thurman Meadows of Rosedale, Virginia and the late Martha Sue Green Meadows.

Lee was a member of the McArthur Eagles.

He is survived by his sons, Jamie Jamie Reid Meadows of Hamden, Josh and Jordan Meadows both of Albany; a daughter, Jenessa Meadows of Albany; grandchildren, Jason Lee and Dylan Christopher Meadows; the mother of his children, Pam Meadows of Albany; a brother, Michael Meadows of Westerville; a sister, Karen Ann Roberts of Coshocton, Ohio and his stepmother, Peggy Meadows of Rosedale, Virginia.

In addition to his mother, Lee was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Allen Meadows.

Lee's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 3 P.M., Monday, March 21, 2011 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Family Cemetery in Deskins, Virginia.
