Lois Jean Campbell

Lois Jean Campbell, 71, of Millfield, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at her residence. She was born June 18, 1939 in Athens County, daughter of the late Homer Wesley and Stella Walton Davis. Lois was married for 52 years to Earl R. Campbell, who survives.

She was a member of Morristown Holiness Church.

Lois is survived by her sons, Larry Christy Campbell of The Plains and Lowell Sandy Campbell of Millfield; daughters, Carol Campbell of Millfield, Mary Jerry Hart of Nelsonville and Tresa David McLaughlin of Albany; grandchildren, Mark Campbell, Billie Campbell, Jennifer Hart, Frank Ashley Campbell, Jerry Hart, Amber McLaughlin, Michelle Edwards, Cassie Cline and Bobby Johnson; great grandchildren, Frankie, Kaylie, Chase, Addy, Madison, Carson, Autumn, Piper and Jayda; sisters, Verna Tinkham, Ellen Prater, Frances Mason, Bessie Potts and Carol Charlie Pidcock; a brother, Wesley Norma Davis; brothers-in-law, Dalmus Bullock and Jerry Kanode; numerous nieces, nephews, special friends and many friends at Morristown Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Friday, March 25, 2011 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Victor Nelson officiating. Interment will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 2-4 P.M and 6-8 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lois Campbell Fund, 743 Richland Ave., Athens, OH 45701.
