Carolyn P Allen

Carolyn P. Allen, 67, of Glouster, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital, Columbus. She was born December 12, 1943 in Glouster the daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth Nibert Exline. She was married to the late Robert L. Allen who passed away June 2, 2005.

She was retired from Mico Plastics in Columbus and attended the Oakdale Church of Christ. Carolyn loved spending time with her family and friends at the river, was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed listening to Old Time Rock and Roll.

She is survived by 4 sons, Eddie Penny Nott of Grove City, Mark Sandy Nott of Glouster and Rick Debbie Wagner Nott of Upper Arlington, Robert L. Shannon Allen II of Reynoldsburg; a daughter, Julie Fritz Craig of Glouster; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a brother, Bill Cecelia Exline of North Carolina; two sisters, Betty Addington of Canton and Joann Bill Frazier of Columbus; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main Street, Glouster. According to Carolyn's wishes, cremation will take place following the visitation.
