Richard William Simpson

Richard ""Rick"" William Simpson, 46, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born June 12, 1964 in Passaic, New Jersey, son of Edgar ""Bud"" and Margo West Simpson of Logan. Rick was married to Debra E. Reynolds Simpson, who survives.

He was an auto salesman, an Air Force Veteran and a member of the Logan Moose Lodge.

In addition to his parents and wife, Rick is survived by a daughter, Rachelle Matthew Powell of Maine; a brother, Ronald Joseph Rossignol of Maine; sisters, Renee Lynn Mike Bollengier of South Carolina and Denise Marie Simpson of Logan; mother-in-law, Patritia Thompson of Logan; father-in-law, Owen Patsy Reynolds of Logan and a brother-in-law, Jeff Reynolds of Logan.

Funeral services will be held 3 P.M., Sunday, April 17, 2011 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Terry Borah officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Richard ""Rick"" Simpson to, National Wildlife Federation, 11100 Wildlife Center Dr., Reston, VA 20190-5362 or to the Hocking County Humane Society, P.O. Box 863, Logan, Ohio 43138.
