Avrial J. Brooks

Avrial J. Brooks, 89, of Logan, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at Logan Health Care Center. She was born December 29, 1921 in Hocking County, daughter of the late Walter and Flossie Erb Brooks.

Avrial is survived by her grandchildren, Richard Ed Daniels McCulloch of Nelsonville, Clyde Daniel Morris McCulloch of Sunnyvale, California, Cathy McCulloch of Doanville, Bill Tari McCulloch of Nelsonville and Susan LaFollett of Athens; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a sister, Rosella Harris of Buchtel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Helen Yates and Mildred McCulloch; grandchildren, Clarence Stufflebean Jr., Mary Ann Saunders and Mary Kay McCulloch; a brother, Wayne Brooks and a sister, Vernest Fisk.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Friday, April 29, 2011 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.
