Melody Lynn Young

Melody Lynn Young, 45, of Laurelville, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born September 22, 1965 in Chillicothe, daughter of Karen Greg Kennard Elliot Young of Nelsonville and the late Carl Edwin Young.

Melody is survived by her daughter, Marissa Hagerty of Laurelville; sister, Karla Scott Ross of New Plymouth; a brother, Mike Mary Young of Ross County; a special friend, Michael Keaton of Laurelville and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Melody's wishes were to be cremated. No visitation will be held. Private graveside services will be held in Log Pile Cemetery, Vinton County. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
