Nancy Sue Hubbard

Nancy Sue Hubbard, 75, of Canal Winchester, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born October 17, 1935 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Ethel McCutcheon Boetcher.

Nancy was a beloved mother and grandmother who was a devoted homemaker, artist, pianist and an amazing cook. She graduated from Zanesville High School in 1953 and then the Meredith Business College of Zanesville. Nancy was an executive secretary for the Superintendant of Schools in Nelsonville, an Insurance Actuarial service in Columbus and the Southeastern Ohio TB Hospital in Nelsonville. She was a member of the Nelsonville Presbyterian Church.

Nancy is survived by her son, Chuck Hubbard of Canal Winchester; a daughter, LuAnn Chris Lower of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Daniel Lower of Mission Viejo, California and Michael Lower of Los Angeles, California; a sister, Connie Roger McGee of South Carolina and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Sue Hubbard and a brother, Dannie Boetcher.

Private services will be held by the family. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
