Margaret Wyckoff Hulbert, 85, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at her residence. She was born April 27, 1926 in McArthur, daughter of the late Ernest Albert and Leona Shields Wyckoff. Margaret was the widow of the late Dwight E. Hulbert.
She retired from the Department of Human Services in the food stamp program and was a 70 year member of the McArthur United Methodist Church. Margaret was a 50 year member of the Sereno Chapter #128 OES in McArthur and was Past Grand Representative of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island in Ohio.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Hulbert of Logan.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Ted Hulbert; brother, Elden Wyckoff and sister, Virginia Jones.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, August 1, 2011 in the McArthur United Methodist Church, 200 S. Market St., McArthur, with Rev. Dr. Walt Goble officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Sunday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. with an Eastern Star service being held at 7:30 P.M.
