Doreen Talkington

Doreen ""Doe"" Talkington, 63, of McArthur, passed away, Sunday, August 07, 2011 at Pickering House, Lancaster. She was born January 27, 1948 in West Virginia, daughter of Edna Rutherford Clay of McArthur and the late Chester Clay. She was married to Wayne Talkington of McArthur, who survives.

Doe attended the Blackburn Hills Church of Christ in Athens.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three stepchildren, Gary Heika Talkington of Oklahoma, Larry Maxine Talkington of Kentucky and Rosanna Terry Pfaff of Indiana; a foster daughter, Patty Patsell of Harding, Va.; seven grandchildren; six sisters; five brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Elk Cemetery in McArthur. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. No calling hours will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Doreen ""Doe"" Talkington be made to Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130
