Helen Elizabeth Pilo Hershey

Helen Elizabeth Pilo Hershey, 98, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at her residence. She was born May 11, 1913 in Mansfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Frank and Magdelina Estto Pilo. Helen was the widow of the late Harold J. Hershey.

She was a former member of the Utica United Methodist Church and a participant in the Community of Christ Church in McArthur.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Linda Sue Terry Donahoe of McArthur; grandsons, David Donahoe of Grove City and Stephen Donahoe of Washington D.C. and a great grandson, Christopher Donahoe of Grove City.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Home Health care givers.

Helens wishes were to be cremated. No visitation will be observed. Private graveside services will be held in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens, Mt. Vernon. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Helen Hershey, to Nationwide Children?s Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 16810, Columbus, Ohio 43216.
