Phillip A. Withem

Phillip A. Withem, 54, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 30, 1957 in Athens, son of Ruth Gill Grimes of Columbus and the late Lester Withem.

He is survived by his sisters, Kathy Mike Jacobs of Logan, Joyce Redmon of Valparaiso, Indiana and Susan Clark Shepherd of Columbus; brother, Dan Withem of Columbus aunt and uncles, Mildred and Jack Shuttleworth and Wade Gill all of Murray City; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

In addition to his father, Phillip was preceded in death by his brothers, Tim and Jeff Withem.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Dale Parsley officiating. Interment will be in Conner Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call Friday, at the funeral home, from 2-4 P.M and 6-8 P.M.
