Dale Vernon Thompson

Dale Vernon Thompson 69 of Ray passed away September 2, 2011 in Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born November 12, 1942 in Vinton County, son of the late Billy and Lelia Allison Thompson. He was married to Mary Speakman Thompson who survives.

Dale was a member of Gods Community Outreach and was retired from Alcoa in Chillicothe.

He is survived by a son Vernon Dale Thompson of Ray, daughters Julie Dennis Milner of Chillicothe and Jeannie Thompson of Londonderry, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a brother Clifford Thompson of Ray and a sister Leona Glassburn of Chillicothe.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter Patricia Ross, a sister Ruth Thomas and a brother Ervin Thompson.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, McArthur with Rev. Woodrow Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Bell Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11am until time of services.
