Betty E. Campbell, 82, of Logan, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born June 21, 1929 in Hocking County, daughter of the late George T. Rose and Fanchion Stephenson Rose. Betty was the widow of the late Don Campbell.

She retired from Smead Manufacturing in Logan and was a member of FOE Auxiliary #2168, the Women of the Moose #997 and Amvets Ladies Auxiliary #1776.

As a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and soon to be great grandmother, Betty is survived by a son, Roger E. Cook of Richmond, Virginia; grandchildren, Marcia J. Katie Pollard Cook and Shelly R. Mandy Johnson Cook both of Tallahassee, Florida and Daniel J. Courtney Cook of Blacklick; special friend and companion, Paul Poston of Logan and dear family friends, Timothy and Beverly Poling of Murray City.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert E. Rose and George Rose Jr.

Graveside services will be held 1 P.M., Friday, September 16, 2011 in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge, with Pastor Timothy Poling officiating. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Friday, from 11 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.

The family suggests contributions be made to Dan Cook, 8684 Lovell Lane, Blacklick, Ohio 43004, to help with expenses.
