Margaret L. Griggs

Margaret L. Griggs, 47, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville. She was born June 19, 1964 in Tampa, Florida, daughter of the late Robert Howard and Carol Nancy Davis Griggs.

Margaret is survived by sons, Brian Daniel Chaney, Travis L. Scherer and John Dean Sherer Jr.; five grandchildren; brothers, Wesley, Steven, Edward, Billy, Russell and Bobby Griggs; sisters, Wanda Reynolds, Sylvia Claver and Mary Jane Westphal and a special friend, Terry Norris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Jesse and a sister, Sherry.

Margaret has been cremated. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
