Rhea M. Barber

Rhea M. Barber, 83, of Logan, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek Nursing Home. She was born August 21, 1928 in Hocking County, daughter of the late Guy E. and Carrie Larkins Evans. Rhea was the widow of the late Floyd Barber.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Logan.

Rhea is survived by her sons, Michael Carroll Barber of Bellbrook, Ohio and Richard Beverly Barber of Xenia, Ohio; grandchildren, Amanda M. Barber, Jason Henderson and Jessica Allen and a brother, William Evans of Nelsonville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Myrtle Cecil.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, November 2, 2011, in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Brian Arnold officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.
